CBDC's (Central Bank Digital Currency) will replace cash soon. Think that's not true? Been to your bank lately? Noticed signs that they are low on cash and coins? Tried to pull more than $5k from your account and told there are daily, or weekly limits? Noticed the shortage of physical cash flowing through the economy lately? Why do you think that is? 🤔
What is happening is the Federal Reserve is taking in cash and not making new dollars at the same rate they used to. The point of this is to slowly dwindle physical cash in preparation for their CBDC roll out. If you are paid by direct deposit or check, you wont have a choice, that money will be converted into CBDC as soon as your bank deposits it.
The scary thing about CBDC is the ability to program it. CBDC can be programmed to not work at certain stores, say Guns & Ammo shops. They can also easily inflate the supply at the push of a button, devaluing your buying power. CBDC can also be used to remove the ability to have a savings account, like we've seen in China, where their CBDC has an expiration date and must be spent within a certain time period or lose its value. CBDC also gives banks and the government the ability to freeze or seize your money at will. CBDC will also be used to track what you buy and where, to build a profile of you.
Already, your bank account is digital and exists on a bank's computer. You check your balance and pay bills online.
You use your bank card or phone to buy things more than you withdraw cash and pay for items. Nearly all online shopping requires digital payments. If you think CBDC is a conspiracy theory, you haven't been paying attention to the massive change to your financial life over the past couple of decades.
