'It's Snowing Ash': First Responder Surveys Scorched Landscape Near Malibu

A first responder recorded the thick smoke and burnt landscape at Mulholland Highway, in Malibu, as the region battled the Woolsey Fire, which stood at 40 percent contained on November 13. Two people died and three were injured in the fire, which has consumed nearly 100,000 acres in Ventura County and Los Angeles County, CAL Fire said. Speaking to Storyful, Dimitri Seneca Snowden said he moved to LA to work on a TV show several months ago. He said he has also worked as a first responder for several years. After seeing how many dispatch calls there were for the Woolsey Fire, he said he drove towards the smoke. Seneca Snowden also said he assisted with evacuations in the Mountain View Estates, in Calabasas, before going to Mulholland Highway.
