Hi Everyone Sandman Here,
This video is brought to you by a donation from Mr. Anonymous and here's what he has to say: "Hi Sandman, I just want to start this by saying that since I found your videos, I've been bing watching them for the past 3 weeks. Thankfully I have about 4 years of content to catch up on. Your vids will entertain me for some time. Now onto my topic. I'm a 32 year old male who's been living a single lifestyle for two years now. It wasn't a conscious decision to go MGTOW as I only discovered this label once I found your videos. The biggest reason is that I've been suffering with a medical condition since I was born. That condition is called Sickle Cell. This is a blood disorder that causes me chronic pain. I've
found that in most women I decide to have relationships with aren't very sympathetic to my illness. In one case, the girlfriend I was with at the time was so toxic that I fell into a phase of stress and anxiety; two things that aren't good for my condition. For months I felt myself getting sicker. My body was hurting in ways I hadn't experienced in years. On one occasion, I had planned to visit some friends on a weekend. But I was in so much pain that I decided to
call it off and rest at my girlfriend's place instead. Now, this girlfriend had a toddler from a previous relationship -the dad was out of the picture at the time- and on the particular day that I wanted to rest my body, one of the my girlfriends friends asked if she could babysit her toddler at her house. My girlfriend agreed and this left just me and her alone. Long story short, we ended up arguing because I just wanted to rest my body and prepare for another week of work, but because she was without her child she wanted to use the opportunity to go out and do something. Sandman, when I'm in pain, its usually really tough to deal with. And because I've learned to cope with the pain in my own way, people around me may not always be aware of how much pain I'm in. When you have chronic pain, you tend to normalise it and deal with it the best you can. But this particular girlfriend never seemed to care about my health, yet when she was sick with even a common cold I would make a big fuss about it and try my hardest to look after her and make her comfortable. Some weeks after this occasion I ended up in hospital. Eventually I had a bloodclot on my lung and I could have died. I had decided to end the relationship the day before going into hospital because I didn't want to deal with the stress of the relationship while trying to recover from a sickle cell crisis. Plus, something told me that my girlfriend would be salty that I would be getting so much attention in the hospital while not being able to give her any in return. Not to mention, on this same week that I ended up in hospital, her baby-daddy had magically reappeared after being AWOL for two years. I guess my suggestion for the video is to discuss the dynamics of chronic illness in relationships, especially when it's the man who suffers from the illness. Thank you for all the great content and please
keep my name private. Though, sickle cell is so rare that I believe people will pinpoint this topic back to me anyway." Well mr a thanks for the donation and topic. Your ex girlfriend didn't care about your predicament because she most likely never went through what you've gone through and therefore couldn't empathize with you.
