The FactsOn November 5th, 2017, Devin Patrick Kelley walked into First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs in Texas, wearing tactical gear and carrying a military style assault rifle, opening fire and killing 26 Christians and injuring 24 others. After being shot by a gun carrying church neighbor, Kelley fled the church and was later found dead in his vehicle.Shooter was reported to have targeted people who showed fear/weakness. He deliberately fired upon children who were begging for help. In this small town, Kelley managed wiping out 7% of the entire population of the community. Abuse of ex-wife and cracked the skull of 11 mo. old infant stepsonKelley was court-martialed in 2012 on two charges of domestic assault on his wife and stepson.He spent one year in military prison and received a "Bad Conduct Discharge" from the Air Force in 2014.Did you find yourself feeling almost numb to this?How did the shooter even get a gun? Lessons to be learned?
