Such a thing would be laughable and likely cause mass riots - as he has the highest disapproval rating in recent history - unless of course some kind of national tragedy took place. It would also boost him in the polls and make his political enemies look weak on gun control in the face of renewed carnage.

Watch your backs out there. Maybe just stay home the last few weeks of May-Early June. Just saying.
