A recap of MNL (8/1/2022):

- I was just chillin' like a villain this week. Four new books received the spotlight including, a "dreadful" novella, a historical viking epic, and a couple of fantastical YA adventures that sensationalize the coming of age.

- I considered the notion of featuring special guests to co-host a show with me.

- I hit the peak of my villain arc midstream, sharing not only some ideas on how to utilize social media marketing, but also my criticisms in regard to the widespread development of indie culture and how it has been negatively influenced by Hollywood celeb-culture.

- I shared various examples of videos that writers/artists could create and have featured on the show, including but not limited to: book trailers - poetry reading - storytelling - web series - video essays - tag videos - comedy sketches - etc. I rarely receive video links, so if you'd like to be featured sooner rather than later, I suggest sharing some video content.

- I finished the broadcast by reading a dystopian horror via Wattpad, which leaned heavily into existential themes.
