Fachmedien wie „agrarheute“ schlagen Alarm. Die Getreidepreise würden stark ansteigen. Als Grund wird der Ukraine-Krieg angegeben. Doch genauer betrachtet stimmt das so nicht. Keines der Länder ist von Importen aus der Ukraine abhängig. Das hält auch das Statistik-Portal Statista fest: Deutschland importiert 0,04 Prozent der ukrainischen Gesamtexporte an Weizen. Die Preissteigerung dürfte vielmehr mit Finanzspekulationen zu tun haben.
