You want to test fit the trigger and hammer before you apply any finish to the lower receiver. If you need to mill out a couple more thousands of an inch of material in a spot on the receiver, you might want to do the final steps by using a hand drill with the end mill bit. Also the holes for the take-down pins are made very tight, so you likely need to very slightly drill them out maybe a 1/64 inch larger so the take-down pins can be pushed out by hand when the upper receiver is installed.
