The Santa Fe Railroad always had many different types of locomotives when it was still around The G.E. Dash 8-40BW was no exception. This model is made from the Atlas Model Train company I don't know if they are still making this I think they stopped productions. I did some modification on this loco I got this at the Costa Mesa Train Show that is coming up next Feb. 8 2019 which I will attend. The mods I did where adding the numbers this unit was unnumbered and I gave the number 550 to it. I also gave it PWRS magna lock air hoses as well as starting to install LEDs I need to figure out how to added sound or non sound will see it's a project that's on hold.
