Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown - Jean Kujo Arcade Mode

Gave Virtua Fighter 5 Ultimate Showdown a try since it was added to the PS+ collection. I've never played the series, so I had to spend some time in training to get used to the mechanics. The game isn't very combo-heavy since most of the strings are of 3 hits. That being said the characters have massive move lists and each one might have its uses in a given situation. The flow of battle is very grounded and methodical with a focus on guarding and counter attacking. I picked Jean Kujo since he seemed like an edgy boy and I like his JoJo posing. I did alright in the Arcade mode until the final battle where they threw a non-playable character named Dural who absolutely destroyed me and I didn't get a chance to try the battle again, which was weird. Then I just got credits with no ending for Jean. There is very little single player content in this game. Why should I care about any of these characters? Even a profile of who they are would be something. There also isn't anything to unlock, so this leaves it as a purely competitive title. The game would require a lot of learning of your character of choice and all the opponents and their moves. I doubt I'll be playing much more of it.
