Jacquie Dundee, Australian activist from Melbourne comments on the Pandemic Laws, Victorian Premier Dan Andrews aims to replace the existing Emergency Powers that have wreaked havoc in Victoria. These new powers will give to the Premier, sweeping powers to declare pandemics and enforce public health orders for three months at a time. In addition
anyone found breaking these laws will be liable to 90k fine or indefinite imprisonment. Naturally this has caused much concern and questions as to the legality of such orders.
