Ditching the gluten is a process. Where are you today?
Enjoy my video on gluten and processed foods. Watch both the video and read below for my complete "About Gluten" talk! (it's hard for me to keep my discussion to only gluten since I do not want to get sick anymore, so I've tried to whittle it down as short as possible).
Gluten can show up in almost anything you buy especially in anything processed. But specifically, it definitely is in wheat, barley and rye, spelt, khorasan, emmer, einkorn, and triticale, and oats as well as malts. The official definition: “gluten is a collective term that refers to many different types of proteins (prolamins)” OATS: Some people, especially celiacs might have a reaction to the protein in oats. I personally am ok to eat "Certified Gluten Free" oats, but some of you may not.
