State-sponsored terrorism is government support of violent non-state actors engaged in terrorism. The Greater Manchester police escorted a mob of Muslim agitators who were intent on attacking a Tommy Robinson political event in Oldham. When the masked Muslims got to the event they attacked men, women and children with bricks, stones and eggs. The unprovoked attack was watched by the police and legal observers without substantive intervention.
