Carrion - Playthrough Part 4 (100% Completion)

After completing a somewhat simple level our Thing-like horror gained the ability to transform into a human and escaped the secret base. This was quite surprising since it seems that some of the levels are actually optional. I then went back and completed the Botanical Gardens to 100% the game, but this didn't really change the ending.

Overall the game had a great concept, but some strange design decisions like no map and skippable levels. You don't really need most of the upgrades either once you unlock all 3 forms and their respective powers. There were a couple of challenging encounters, but the game should've been 4-5 levels longer with more puzzles other than the "where the hell do I go now" variety. Visually the game is not all that impressive and aside from the creature it has this blurry look, that's not to my taste. I do like how the monster controls and it's different powers, but by the end of the game they felt underutilised. There's no replay value, so I'd advise people to wait for a sale on this one.
