A man identified as Reed Bender refused to wear a mask while in attendance at a Mitchell South Dakota School Board meeting in defiance of a school district policy which mandates the wearing of masks.

Members of the City of Mitchell Police Department arrived and forcibly removed Mr. Bender from the meeting and he was later released without charges.
