There are no verse in the Quran or statement of the messenger of The God, Muhammad(PBUH) that women have half brain of men.
Quran states 2:282 And bring to witness, two witnesses from among your men. And if there are not two men, then one man and two women from those whom you accept as witnesses, so that if one of the two errs, then will remind the other one of the two.
This is for practical reasons. Its easy to find neutral unrelated men but where will one find such women. Therefore 1 woman from each household, one from the lender of money and the other from the lending of money, making 2 women and a unrelated neutral man as witnesses. Solution to all biases.
In the Hadith of Abu Said al Khudri, Muhammad(PBUH) is not addressing women kind in general but a specific type of Women who are dishonest, curses frequently, and are ungrateful to their husbands. Those women also had deficiency at following religion and were very cunning not wise. Those women could lead a cautious wise man astray. These characteristics are not norm for all women-kind. The Messenger of The God, Muhammad(PBUH) addressed these women after sermon to encourage to give alms and warned them against evil characteristics. While addressing no where did the Messenger of The GOD, Muhammad(PBUH) mentioned that these evil characteristics are found in the whole of women kind, on the contrary, he stated "SOME OF YOU". And statistically in the whole of HUMAN history, WOMEN have always been the majority of human being, therefore majority of Human Beings who are sinners, following Satan, and leading towards Hell are WOMEN.

On 'Id ul Fitr or 'Id ul Adha Allah's Apostle (p.b.u.h) went out to the Musalla. After finishing the prayer, he delivered the sermon and ordered the people to give alms. He said, "O people! Give alms." Then he went towards the women and said. "O women! Give alms, for I have seen that the majority of the dwellers of Hell-Fire were you (women)." The women asked, "O Allah's Apostle! What is the reason for it?" He replied, "O women! You curse frequently, and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have not seen anyone more deficient in intelligence and religion than you. O women, some of you can lead a cautious wise man astray." Then he left. And when he reached his house, Zainab, the wife of Ibn Masud, came and asked permission to enter It was said, "O Allah's Apostle! It is Zainab." He asked, 'Which Zainab?" The reply was that she was the wife of Ibn Mas'ub. He said, "Yes, allow her to enter." And she was admitted. Then she said, "O Prophet of Allah! Today you ordered people to give alms and I had an ornament and intended to give it as alms, but Ibn Masud said that he and his children deserved it more than anybody else." The Prophet replied, "Ibn Masud had spoken the truth. Your husband and your children had more right to it than anybody else." Bukhari :: Book 2 :: Volume 24 :: Hadith 541
