I was led to create this video on seeing the images of the calves that were born in 2014.
This work I produce is based on the Tzadok Priestly Calendar overlaid on the Gregorian for ease of the reader's understanding. This calendar was used by King David during his reign. Priests who would work in the Temple were determined by lot (1 Chron 24:5,7-18). Fast forward to our era, it was discovered that Gamul (according to the DSS, pages 181-184 Michael Wise Ed.) came in service during a full moon in March of 2016. How it was determined was that in that particular Schmitta week (years from 2013-2019) the moon fell on the 1st of Aviv in March on a Wednesday in the years 2013, 2016, and 2019. Gamul began in the first week of the 1st month in 2016. The moon has never fallen into this pattern again as far back and forward as the research allowed. This calendar is one for reckoning as well determining what is in store each week or month that a new priest comes into service. Combined with the Torah portions read in that week, we can spiritually prepare ourselves for what is coming in the future.
