It was about 1986 and I bought a Volkswagen Mimi Bus so I could convert it in to a camper van. I did not have any where to work on the van so I had a heater in the van with me in the middle of the winter in Northern Germany. I can say it was very cold. The Volkswagen Bus had seats in it so I took them out and made a camper in the back. If I may say so myself it turned out very very nice. Some even thought it was built by a company. So I was very please with the finished product.
