The mixed response to my Z Cam E1 review inspired some thoughts. I've noticed that reviews seem to fall into two categories: entertaining and informational. One tries to present an experience with the information while the other is only about relaying information and a hint of opinion. I don't see a way to make a review that both camps like. Compare DigitalRev TV reviews to Christopher Frost Photography lens reviews: they're both very good, but the styles are very different. Is there a way to make them both happy? I don't see one. I'd love to know what you think.
