One of my personal favourite topics, bridge pages for affiliate marketing. There are several options to create bridge pages for affiliate marketing. But for the purpose of this demonstration, we are just going to look at Google Sites. Google Sites are quite easy to create, even if you have no web design experience at all! There are however a few key elements to focus on.

As with any website and/or blog, the title and URL slug is of utmost importance. You want to let Google know exactly what your site is about. This is done by including your target keywords and/or search phrases in the site Title and URL Slug. The URL Slug with bridge pages for affiliate marketing is the part after the forward-slash (/).

Furthermore, you want to make use of the table of contents, it just better describes your Google Site to search engines. But for the table of contents to work with Google sites and affiliate marketing you must use headings and sub-headings. You also want to focus on keywords and search phrases in the first 2 – 4 sentences of each text block.

This is all part of making your content easier understandable by both your audience and search engines. Include images, but do not forget the image alt attribute. Like a short description of what the image is about. Again, making your content easier to understand.
