The Fish-man is back!! The Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954) has been captured by scientists and transported to an aquarium in Florida. Once there, he becomes attracted to lovely female scientist Helen Dobson (Lori Nelson) and manages to escape and kidnap her, and heads to Jacksonville, with her real-life love in pursuit. The acting is so bad it's good, but the fishy sexual predator just makes things weird. However, Revenge of the Creature’s most memorable moment does not really involve the Gill-man or the Damsel in distress. It involves a scientist named “Jennings” who plays with a lab rat in the scene. It is a dismissible filler scene, but Jennings ended up having some success in later films as a director and actor known by the alias: Clint Eastwood who is uncredited here in his first role.
