Der Terranaut (1987?, Amstrad CPC)

Der Terranaut (The Terranaut) is an illustrated text-adventure published by German company DMV Verlag. I do not know if the game was sold individually or only as a part of a compilation called "Fantastic Four".

The story is set in the year 2370. In 2320, mankind had sent the last generation ship, the Terra, into space in order to colonize the Sirius. Yet the ship went lost after a catastrophe happened during the flight with lightspeed. The ship vanished without a trace. Many years later, a signal was caught which explained what had happened: the Terra had been thrown into another galaxy. Unfortunately, when the signal was discovered, there was no suitable spaceship available for a rescue mission. Now, 50 years after the start of the Terra, mankind have built their first ship, the Thaifun, which is capable of flying through hyperspace and thus cross the distance to the Terra fast enough. You take the role of the commander of the Thaifun and need to find your way to the place wehre the Terra went down.
