No one really knows why the giant sarsen stones were hauled from the Marlborough Hills and positioned into a series of circles within a deep encompassing ditch. It is the subject of great debate, however.

Marq, Rob and myself join the many hundreds of thousands who have speculated about these amazing towering lumps of rock. I hope you enjoy our musings.
