First of all, note that I am using modern Icelandic pronunciation here and I am NOT claiming to be a historical linguist, philologist or a specialist of any kind in the Old Norse language. I am very much in the very beginning stages with my studies in the Old Norse language and there is much, much, much, much more knowledge and practice that needs to be acquired to be able to freely read, speak and understand the language.
