I wrote a note to the pastor of the church about being baptized, and then called me up to make an appointment to talk things over. I guess he wanted to interview me and see if I had the real stuff or not, or was I just trying to make my mama happy, or had I been hooked by one of those missionary daters. You know, the girls who go out with an unchurched guy and are determined to have him join their church for marriage down the road.
