I was reminded of a tragedy of a few years ago when I visited Bigelow Hollow State Park in Union, CT over this past weekend. I didn't know the young woman who died as a result of an accident at the park in January of 2016. She was only 18 years old. But I've never been able since then to drive past this park without reflecting on the news of what happened to her. Her name was Emily Blouin.
