BBC Television drama documentary examining the effects of a nuclear attack on Britain. “Threads” has been described as the movie that traumatized a nation.... (much like the coronavirus scare has traumatized the entire planet). Set in Sheffield, England it tells the story of a nuclear war as viewed by the working class people of the city. The BBC aired it twice - once in 1984 then again in 1985 on the 40th anniversary of the atomic bombing of Japan.
