Holocaust denier Ernst Zundel believed that the earth was hollow and that flying saucers were Nazi weapons launched from an underground base under Antarctica. In 1998 he went as far as to publicize an expedition to Antarctica to locate the entrance to hollow earth and search for "Hitler's flying saucers bases". A ticket would cost $9,999, yet no one oyher than the ticlet buyers would know whether the expedition took place, or what it would find. Apparently what he did find was that deniers would believe practically ANYTHING. Isn't that surprising :)

Zündel continued to defend these views as late as 2002.
