Learning to mind map completely changed my life 31 years ago. It has been incredible in so many areas of my life.

Not only are we taught linear note making and taking that strangles comprehension and creativity, we are also scolded for copying, which is one of ways that we learn. Add that to their being few handbooks explaining how your brain works it is no wonder so many struggle with information overload and cannot make head nor tail of things.

Back in the early to mid 1990’s I can across mind mapping and Tony Buzan, the creator of the concept. That moment was pivotal in my ability to capture, process and recall information. Nearly three decades later I am still using mind maps many times every day and still marvel at how useful they are.
