Coleman Cooler (With a Yeti Sticker) by Cheddar Peppers
Founded in 2019, just a few miles north across the Arkansas River from Little Rock, Cheddar Peppers is the latest project by Arkansan lyricist / songwriter Tim Hill (a.k.a. Lord Cheddar Pepper). Cheddar Peppers music incorporates an explosion of both American modern country and southern rock sounds...all beautifully intertwined together. With songs in hand, Lord Cheddar Pepper teamed up with award-winning producer Stacy Hogan, the phenomenal Mike Lusk (vocals) and various world-renowned musicians located in Nashville, Tennessee.
The song "Coleman Cooler (With a Yeti Sticker)" is the debut single from Cheddar Peppers. It is a happy, high energy, upbeat country music song that invites the listener to get up, dance and sing-along. The title hook is catchy and the chorus will soon have you calling the hogs. The Yeti sticker that is mentioned throughout the song will have the first time listener jumping to conclusion that the old beloved Coleman cooler has been adorned with a shiny new promotional decal from another famous ice chest competitor. Unless you have seen the album artwork for yourself, it would be almost impossible to know that the Yeti sticker being mentioned is a direct reference to the mythical creature, also known as the Abominable Snowman. However, the actual sticker depicted on the back of the Coleman cooler is that of the fictional character named Bumble, The Abominable Snowmonster of the North, from the classic 1964 television special, Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. This was obviously done for amusement purposes and exposes the listener to Lord Cheddar Pepper’s self amusing humor. With a pseudonym as such, one surely would be expected to belt out a good laugh or two.
“A simple song like “Coleman Cooler (With a Yeti Sticker)” just goes to show that not everything is always what it appears to be on the surface. Each day our eyes and ears are flooded with all sorts of information. We are all left to process this information on our own. Are the things we see and hear, and base our beliefs and opinions on, really what we believe? Or have we simply allowed ourselves to jump to a conclusion?” - Lord Cheddar Pepper
Cheddar Peppers happily proclaim to be independent, unsigned, DIY artist...drifting by on a small speck of dust and trying to make a BIG noise along the way. Their slogan is, Southern Homegrown Countrified Music! If you like what you hear, tell a friend or call your local radio station. Cheddar Peppers are not backed by any big record label or promotion company. If you follow artist on social media like Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Kenny Chesney or any other name in country music, let their fan base know what you have discovered. Help promote the “Coleman Cooler (With a Yeti Sticker)” song! Be a voice for independent artists who are struggling to compete in an industry where huge corporations shell out millions to influence radio and media markets around the globe. It’s time for the music industry to judge artists for the quality of a song, rather than the quantity of money being distributed to promote a song.
