Why Do You Say, "Thank You, God"?

Jesse asks Christians why they say "thank you" to God or Jesus — his Biblical Question of the Week. Jesse asks a man in church if he forgave his mother. Black people thank God, yet they hate white folks. Others respond to it. A few people say we should thank God for the bad times. Some say kids should be taught about God and to be thankful, but Jesse asks if we should let children discover on their own, so that they know for themselves. Most people are taught to do it, but they don't rely on the Teacher within, the Holy Spirit.
