"Established Knowledge" is a Disease

The death of expertise is freedom from meritocratic tyranny. There is no such thing as a reliable source of information. We can expect to eventually find we're wrong in some way. Good information can come from bad sources, and good sources can provide bad information. There is also no "touchstone of truth", and no bedrock of established knowledge we no longer need to revisit. Such a thing fails to account for the errors that passed initial judgement. The logic of fallibilism is to keep solving the problems that arise. Keep searching for better explanations.
