Many of my Subs have been asking me about Neanderthal DNA and Autism so finally here's a video explaining it, conclusion no We did not get Autism from Neanderthal DNA but yes Autism may be a result of Hybridization with Neanderthals.........Relationship status? : It's complicated
Basically it's a copy number variant as in many copies of the same genes on the same chromasome or deletion of genes quote "The structure involves a segment of DNA on chromosome 16 that contains 28 genes. This segment is flanked by blocks of DNA whose sequences repeat over and over."
So Autism inherited from Neanderthals directly No
Autism as a result of Neanderthal Hybridization causing copy number variations or deletions YES
