Exclusive video from WFAA photographer Josh Stephen captures the final moments of the tense hostage situation at the Congregation Beth Israel synagogue in Colleyville. After a nearly 12-hour standoff, three hostages burst out of the building at just before 9:15 p.m., right as FBI agents surrounded it. All three hostages survived. Another hostage, released earlier in the day, was also unharmed. The hostage-taker, a 44-year-old British citizen identified by the FBI as Malik Faisal Akram, died at the scene.
