These 8 days of heavy gray wintry blanketing have been getting on my nerves - but today we finally got a break! There's also a new set of Sunspots coming around.
For months now I've been having trouble with the manual focusing on the Nikon P900 so have a backup - the Canon SX60HS. Both cameras used in this footage. I have a feeling that the Nikon got buggered after all the hours and hours of filming the August Solar Eclipse, plus she's been a workhorse for the last year. :)

-Nikon P900 with 83x optical zoom & 166x dynamic fine digital zoom super telephoto Nikkor lens:
-Homemade Solar Filter using Thousand Oaks Optical Solar Filter Film (inexpensive from Amazon), some cardboard and tape.
