Hi this week we are testing the TL Audio VP5051 valve processor. We have the shure beta 91A plugged directly into the VP5051 then we are recording the result on to the ZOOM H6.
Here are some specs
TL AUDIO 5051 MONO VALVE VOICE PROCESSOR Combines a high quality pre-amp with a compressor, expander/gate and an equaliser section. The pre-amp features an input gain control, +48V, low cut filter and an instrument input. `Drive` and `Peak` LEDs indicate how hard the valve stages are being driven. The compressor section provides fully variable control of threshold, ratio and gain make up, with a choice of four attack and release times. The expander/gate offers control of threshold. The equaliser section (which is bypassable and can be switched before or after the compressor) features the same type of four band shelving/peaking arrangement as TL Audio`s Classic EQ-1 unit. The master section includes an output gain control, VU meter (which can be switched to read input, output or gain reduction), and a stereo link switch. The mic input is on balanced XLR, and the line input/outputs are duplicated on balanced XLR/unbalanced jacks. A side chain insert point is also provided.
Hope you enjoyed the sound on the video it sounds great through the VP5051
