I'm one of those who likes thinking of things in a Biblical God versus Satan paradigm. I'm also sensitive to the fact that we've all covertly been inducted into a Satanic system so that the real Satanists are effectively camouflaged by the herded masses who don't have any understanding of what is going on.
Therefore, I'm aware that for most people the God/Satan paradigm is too rigid, and New Age ideas better resonate with them.
However, my impression is that life is too short to be making as many mistakes as most of us make trying to figure things out along the way, and that the straight and narrow is the best way.
Knowing what you value in life and making efforts to live religiously in respect of those ideals helps you more easily figure out and filter out from your life experience what contradicts and compromises your values.
Otherwise it's a slippery slope, making one compromise after another before you find yourself being taken advantage of by this life rather than making the most of it. You see this with the normie who isn't anchored to anything but the ever-changing culture he adapts himself to in order to remain normal.
Leonard Cohen sings:
"Things are going to slide (slide) in all directions
Won't be nothing (won't be)
Nothing you can measure anymore
The blizzard, the blizzard of the world
Has crossed the threshold
And it's overturned the order of the soul"
