The Shield of David
Shield of David
by LastFirst, January 28, 2019
This Symbol as used in my channel's meme is what I believe to be the actual symbolic representation for the...Shield of David.
In 1980 this symbol was discovered as part of an early Christian burial site. The place of this archaeological discovery,..Talpiot,a neighborhood in East Jerusalem.
It happened as a bulldozer inadvertently unearthed a tomb containing ten ossuaries - six of which bore inscriptions of extraordinary magnitude to biblical scholars.
Six names were inscribed on the stone coffins: Jesus, son of Joseph; Mariamene (the common name of Mary Magdalene; Maria; Matthew; Joseph; and Judah, Son of Jesus.
Though the stone coffins were initially dismissed as coincidence by archeologists, they were catalogued by the Israel Antiquities Association before being sent to a warehouse and forgotten for over two decades.
Until Simcha Jacobovichi (a Canadian Jew) and James Cameron, together took interest in a joint venture project to explore the possibility that a first-century tomb unearthed in Jerusalem in 1980 may have once held the remains of Jesus Christ.
Compelled by the remarkable collection of New Testament names inscribed on the tombs, filmmaker Jacobovichi, with the aid of Cameron, determined to solve the mystery behind what could be one of the most significant archeological discoveries in the history of man.
A documentary Film was produced: "The Lost Tomb of Jesus Christ"
I was impressed by the amount of information presented, but not necessarily by every theory given.
(i.e. Jesus's marriage to Mary of Magdalene; The non resurrection of Christ; Christ had a child; and that only a wife and close family members not someone close to the family could have been buried altogether there).
But I do believe it is the familial burial site of Christ, and that the symbol depicted on the outside of the tomb (an open triangle pointing upward, Shielding a circle beneath it) is in fact the Family Shield of Armour belonging to the Davidic bloodline of Christ or the Shield of David.
The "Star of David" as seen today is not the Shield of David, but the Star of Remphan, and it has its origin described by God himself in both the Old and New Testaments.
