JC Higgins Model 60 66 and Sears Model 66 Semi-Automatic Shotgun Part 3 of 4

This is part 3 of a 4 part video series that details the various models of the JC Higgins shotguns made for Sears and Roebuck from 1952 till about 1966 by High Standard. Information is scarce and this is accurate to the best of my knowledge. I’ve included all models that came with ventilated ribs and shown the various deviations of those models. This includes mid series production changes that I’ve concluded through observation. I cover parts interchangeability, parts acquisition, disassembly/assembly, and troubleshooting. There are opinions and values and pros and cons of ownership.

There is only my monotonous voice and examples of the guns. No banjo music, no metal guitar riffs, and no editing; filmed completely on my iPhone! I’m merely passing on information I’ve gleaned after six years of collecting, ownership, and research. When I started, I had no information, just a gun that wouldn’t function. I am hoping that this helps someone.
