STAR WARS IN IRAQ - DIRECTED ENERGY WEAPONS USED IN IRAQ - PART 2 OF 3

The investigation ("l'inchiesta") is an Italian investigative journalism television program that is broadcast on the all news channel Rainews24.

Every week a documentary lasting about 24 minutes is broadcast, the aim of which is to analyze and discover social and political facts by clarifying their most controversial aspects and without stopping at appearances. The founding purpose of the investigations is to shed light on the crucial contemporary issues, which influence civil and international coexistence and which generate conflicts: energy, war industry, technological innovation, medical and scientific research.

Since 2005, the Rainews24 investigation department has produced more than one hundred television documentaries.

The innovation of the war industry is at the center of the "Star Wars in Iraq" ("Guerre stellari in Iraq") investigation, an investigation into the deployment, in Iraq, of direct energy, microwave-based weapons, such as the Active Denial System. Another work that has dealt with the topic of new weapons is "You will protest with pain. The paradox of the harmless weapon that can change Democracy", an investigation into the possible consequences of the use of non-lethal weapons for purposes of public order.
