Fear the Night , Zombie Survival with Crafting (Another Snail Games USA Game)

Disclosure: This game copy was bought by the reviewer. I also need to clarify this video is set on a server with higher exp gain and damage modifiers to show more of the game in less time. I also played on an official server for comparisons.

This is a very similar title to most other games in the zombie survival genre, but their is an infection meter that must be monitored (turns the screen yellow) and crafting recipes are tied to your level. Attacking, gathering and crafting will give you experience to level up, but it takes forever with zombie levels being tied to the area they inhabit, so expect to be in the same constantly looted area for awhile. There are plenty of modifiers for private servers at least, so it is possible to set up a server with 6x multiplier. It is also important to note their is no single player right now. With the optimization problems, AI behavior and terrain textures adding expected, but annoying problems, I recommend holding off on this one. Some would say grouping up would fix this, but experience isn't shared in a group and you can't leave supplies in teammate's shelter. This makes the decaying hunger/thirst/infection meters more annoying to deal with and promotes solo play.
