Keep up on brake maintenance on your KTM Freeride E-XC and the brakes will work fine. If the Freeride E-XC brakes work gooding enough for me to ride full speed MX on, the brakes will be just fine for your trailing riding. I've ever experienced the Freeride's brakes overheating and fading! Keep fresh 5.1fluid in them to keep them from boiling, clean the pad surfaces, make sure the barake pistons move freely and your Freeride E-XC brakes will work as any Japanese motocross bike from the 1990's!
