Mehrauli Archaeological Park is an archaeological area spread over 200 acre in the Mehrauli neighbourhood of the South Delhi district of Delhi, India, adjacent to the Qutub Minar (a World Heritage Site) and the Qutb complex.
It consists of over 100 historically significant monuments. It is the only area in Delhi known for 1,000 years of continuous occupation, and includes the ruins of Lal Kot built by Tomar Rajputs in 1060, making it the oldest extant fort of Delhi, and architectural relics of subsequent period, rule of Khalji dynasty, Tughlaq dynasty, Lodhi dynasty of Delhi Sultanate, Mughal Empire, and the British Raj.
The redevelopment of the area as an archaeological park and conservation of important structures started in 1997, in collaboration between Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DTTDC), the State Department of Archaeology, the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) and the Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH), which first started systematic documentation of structures in the area and also started conducting heritage walks since 2000.
Over the years, INTACH has restored some 40 monuments in the Park and added signages, heritage trails, and sandstone trail-markers.
The site is not well restored at the current time but it does have some interesting structures. It’s a great place to explore in your own away from the crowds and enjoy this piece of history.

Recorded on 12/29/23. We came here for my cousins Christmas adventure and rode these elevators while we were here. These are actually pretty nice elevators. I like the lolipop theme to them. The interlock confirms that these elevators are from 2017. Apparently there was a much bigger store somewhere else and then this smaller store opened in 2017.

That Castle in Dublin
One of the reasons I started traveling was because I was invited to wedding celebrations. It's weird, I don't consider myself a traveler or an "internationalist" but there was a time there I was doing quite a bit of traveling. That's what the TBT segment is about.
Anyway... Port of call, Dublin Ireland, my friend was getting married in a castle that was converted into a hotel. It was a lovely wedding and the accomodations were swank and expensive. But you only live once.
After the celebration I was back to the vagabond life. A small guest house over a pub and then... I forget where we're off to next.
H2020 continues. We were on top of the covid scam from jump street. The majority of my friends were wearing masks and sheltering in place. They actually used that language. Of course and as usual I was the outlier. There's a possibility that you haven't heard anything that I'm banging on about during 2020. Maybe you still haven't.
There are still people in Philadelphia wearing masks, although they may have decided to wear them for other reasons. We've lost a few, but I cannot say what caused their departure.

In my latest investigation, I delve into the consequences of a recent visa scheme introduced by the British Government in February 2024. This initiative appears to have unintended repercussions, as I've discovered migrants from Jordan and Nigeria—who maintain homes and lives in their respective countries—are navigating a loophole to the detriment of Irish hospitality and taxpayer resources. Venturing into the heart of Dublin, Ireland, I engaged directly with the individuals involved. These interviews aim to shed light on their perspective, exploring the complex interplay of motivations, expectations, and the legal frameworks that guide their actions. This journey seeks to unravel the intricacies of a situation where the lines between seeking opportunity and exploiting generosity seem blurred, all through the lens of those directly impacted and the Irish community footing the bill.
Ireland is my my ancestral home on my mothers side I have great love and affinity for Ireland and the Irish and I'm saddened that the Irish are being sold down the road by their corrupt leaders who seem more determined than ever to make the Irish a minority in the own country within 2 decades.
