The Dark Side of Mexico (How YouTubers Lied to You) Wanderlusty

YouTubers lied! Here I share my experience with an unhinged Mexican property owner and her American husband. My life was threatened. Not by the Mexican Cartels. And not by the poor. The nasty treatment I received was from regular middle-class Mexicans. These are business owners.

My warning to viewers (especially black American men) is to not be misled by other Youtubers who portray Mexico as welcoming to all foreigners. This simply isn't true. At least not for those who look like me.

I filed a police report and included this very video. The result of the investigation? No evidence of any wrongdoing by the property owner or her family. I actually had high hopes for this country. But after living in several different cities across Mexico during the past 2 years, there's no doubt that skin color matters here - even amongst their own kind! Colorism amongst Mexicans is rampant.
