NOTE: At the 1:00:00 (1 hour) mark of the recording Lash discusses an astronomical/astrological point that came up several times in the GNE. He tries to explain the "confusion" that is created when he is describing a LOCATION in the stars by using the Astrological Zodiac locating method: Using the 12 equally spaced 30 degree segments of the 360deg ecliptic: Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces in the location description: example: 2 degrees of "the sign" Gemini.
He seems baffled and sometimes quite irritated when people get confused about his location descriptions. He then combines the "Zodiac" method with the more basic and easy method of simply using the 0-360 degree ecliptic... example: 2 degrees of Gemini "equates to" 62 degrees on the ecliptic.
Yes, he is an expert Astrologer and professionally read clients Astrology charts for 20+ years. He correctly explains that the Astrological Zodiac (12 signs) is an accurate method to examine a persons "personality". BUT they have nothing to do with the 13 real sky constellations that encompass the ecliptic...And upon which the GNE and Planetary Tantra utilize for reading the intentions of the earth goddess.
My point in this note is this:
I feel Lash is egotistically bound to his past expertise in Astrology (12 signs) and can't see the obvious problem in his face. There is ABSOLUTELY NO BENEFIT to including the 12 zodiac signs as part of his PT discussions of planets, stars and constellations. ZERO. As he has admitted more than once.
He could, AND SHOULD forego using/including the 12-sign Astrological Zodiac and simply relate the ECLIPTIC location 0-360 when describing real sky events. Adding in the 12-sign zodiac location is akin to "showing off" and nothing more. It adds an extra layer of totally unnecessary complication to what is really a basic linear measurement - 0 degrees to 360 degrees along the ECLIPTIC. PERIOD.
We are all human and subject to our insecurities and ego driven attempt to compensate for this... and this is absolutely the case here. And this has actually hurt him and his followers - to the point where he has even "blown them out of the rigging". which is Lash's reference to when he doesn't want to relate to someone who is questioning his procedures and descriptions regarding the ASTRONOMY of Planetary Tantra. Keep ASTROLOGY out of it please.
