American R/evolution relays a narrative that is imminent and essential within America at this time. It carries a message that is desperately sought by the public, as increasing numbers of people begin to realize that somewhere, we went off track. And across America, people want to get back on track, want to move forward, and want to transform the broken financial structure into something that represents the people. We want again to support community and to secure our own futures by doing so.
The film honors the original vision for America as cast by Thomas Jefferson and others. It honors the history of this town. I can think of no better place to premier the film than at home in Charlottesville in the VFF.
