As I listened to this interview, I got the feeling that it's movie hype to sell tickets. Fear driving people to the movie theaters. A box office hit. For example, we have a thermosphere, with an E layer, an F1 layer and at 220 km to 800 km up, and F2 layer. Gamma rays and X-rays are blocked by the thermosphere, particularly oxygen and nitrogen are the gases which absorb radiation of gamma and X-rays so they don't hit the earth. Dennis Quaid said that the Iranians could launch a scud missile with a nuclear warhead off the coast of the US that could send gamma rays and X-rays down. If that was possible, oxygen and nitrogen would absorb the energy of these rays. He also said nobody would die, but the grid would be fried. He is wrong on both accounts! Is this a movie promotion? I don't think the thermosphere would fail to block gamma rays or X-rays most of the time and then let this nuclear blast come through. The heaviest part of the atmosphere is below the stratosphere. It's very thin out past the stratosphere. Another thing they do in this interview is to lavish praise on astronauts. These fake astronauts participated in a grand deception of the entire world. They are not heroes, so it appears that you have to tow the line to get parts in movies. I don't trust actors or Hollywood producers. They play along with the deceptions to have opportunities.
