(1997) Second-ever episode of "The Abbey of the Lemur", wherein the show morphs into kind of a demented sitcom. In a half-spoof on Williams' "The Glass Menagerie", our young charge, Lenora, has come of age, and the Lemurs try, unsuccessfully, to pair her off with a "gentleman caller". A desperate Lemuric Majick ritual brings Frankie Strangle to the door.
PRODUCTION NOTES: There's a brief bit toward the beginning of the show during the encounter with Tom the Suitor where you hear a phantom door slamming. This goes back to our practice of blacking our tapes by running a camera when we left the apartment. You can hear us leaving and shutting the door. It's "baked into" the audio, as it were. There are great messages in this show about safe sex and/or food prep safety. Enjoy!
