Just a quick update to the channel. Yes I know I haven't done anything with it, but now that I'm settled in quite a bit, I can share my thoughts and musings.

There is an interview coming up which hopefully will be quite interesting. Stay tuned for that.

New content should be coming. I want to build this channel a bit, although I have absolutely no drive to make it a job/anchor. I'm loving life and don't want to mess with whatever magic is going on, but I wouldn't mind being a bit of an inspiration for those that legitimately want to embrace a life of living off the beaten path.

8 years after a fire ripped through the property, we can take a look at what it's like now (hint, it's creepy!). As always the high def version is available on youtube.

We take our 16 week old puppy for his first BIG hike down to the creek. I upped this on youtube and already got the obligatory "your dog could have been washed away, you are an awful person" comment, so I thought I'd spread the love ;)

Just taking the dogs out for a pre-coffee stroll, and we see wildlife, including a bear.

Anyone who thinks bears are slow and docile, watch this one jump 8 feet up and 4 feet over because a crow startled it. They are not to be trifled with.

A fire on a fantastic evening. Sitting with the dogs soaking in the ambiance and peace of the mountain. No talk, just sights and sounds of the rocky mountains.

We sold quick, packed up everything, and moved to the mountains. No need talking about it, just do it. Very rarely do people get a "RADICAL life transformation". We cut ties with all the people who brought negativity to our lives, and have embraced our NEW life. Why move if you're just going to bring with you, what it was that made you move in the first place? So far, a couple of months in, it's better than we ever imagined.

We're tired of the crime, we're tired of the hate, we're tired of the politics, so we're done, and we're packing up EVERYTHING, and moving across the continent.

The fires still burn in the hearts of men.

Just plans for the channel going forward, just sort of getting all the angst out in one video so that new ones can be free of personal commentary. Diminishing the reliance on youtube.
