This is a documentary about a foul-mouthed Japanese teacher written about in the ancient stone tablets of pre-HD / pre-widescreen YouTube cira 2008. This was the era of AVGN clones and filming your TV with a camcorder to get gameplay footage. Fresh off the heels of a gory anime marathon, a young SnicketySlice (then known as NiceBoatAnime, the most notorious School Days pirate to ever grace the site) sought the sage wisdom of Namasensei so that he may learn the forbidden technique of watching anime without subtitles. There may have been some Shonen battle manga-esque montage at this point in the story, I dunno. Anyway, Bumnumba1 (@bumnumba1) was a really cool YouTuber who made a variety of content--from gaming to cooking videos to Japanese lessons--but they all had one thing in common: he would always drink beer and berate the viewer with a flurry of colourful insults. He started with his Smashed Update series, where he would talk about games that had not been released outside of Japan at the time, such as Super Smash Bros. Brawl. Join me as I do a deep dive on his content so that we may discover the origins of the rawest Japanese teacher you will ever see. I chose not to censor any of the language in this video, as I felt it would take away some of that old YouTube magic. This is a review of Persona 3 Reload. I was unsure if I should make this video considering everyone seemed to be having fun with it, but since negativity is more profitable on YouTube anyway, I may as well vent my honest and uncompromising grievances with this critically acclaimed remake of one of my favourite JRPGs of all time. I don't go into this in the video itself but all the footage on screen was recorded by me using the PC version of the game, which has a few issues, like stuttering during important cutscenes. Apart from this, it's a serviceable enough PC port, I suppose, and you can probably mod out the terrible new music. The only thing I wasn't able to do in the game before making this video was fighting Elizabeth, so I didn't comment on it. Please let me know in the comments if they nerfed her and made her boring and easy like the rest of the game.

The original Sakura Wars was released in 1996 and became one of SEGA's cult series but it never saw a release outside Japan and parts of Asia. Was it simply too weird for 90s gamers to appreciate? Perhaps it's more relevant today with the influx and popularity of JRPGs with an emphasis on waifus. This video also acts as a nice introduction to Sakura Wars as a series in general, why it's set in the Taisho era, and why the release of New Sakura Wars (or simply Sakura Wars 2019) is so important.

Using your save data across two discs can be kind of a confusing process but it's pretty simple. Just change the string of numbers after the file name (it should be track 1 for both discs) to the one for that disc.

My DVD ripping software fucked up and produced this monstrosity.

With the recent appearance of the classic RX-78-2 Gundam in the movie ‘Ready Player One’ I decided to have an in-depth look at every example of live action Gundam.
First I take a look at Chip Proser’s unmade script from 1983 that would have seen Gundam as a Hollywood blockbuster. Syd Mead had worked on the mecha designs for this project (he would later go on to design the Turn A Gundam).
Next we take a look at Gundam 0079: The War for Earth, a full motion video (FMV) game from the mid-90s that reimagines ’79 Gundam with on-screen actors. The result is something we can all laugh at to this day.
Finally, we take a look at the movie G-Saviour, which was the first and so far only live action Gundam movie.
